Honest vacuum advice, tested the way you actually clean
We compare every kind of vacuum, from robot to cordless to wet-dry, so you can skip the marketing and pick the machine that fits your home.
Who we are
VacuumWar is an independent review and buying-guide site about vacuum cleaners of all kinds. The name says it all: there are a lot of vacuums out there, and they all claim to be the best. We put them head to head so you do not have to guess.
Our writers are home-cleaning enthusiasts who vacuum pet hair, crumbs, and dust in real homes, not just in a lab. We read the spec sheets, but we trust the carpet test more.
Our mission
A great vacuum for a studio apartment is not the same as one for a house with three dogs. We explain who each machine suits, and who should skip it.
What we cover
Robot vacuums
Navigation, mapping, mopping, and what really works on rugs and pet mess.
Cordless and stick
Suction, runtime, battery life, and weight for daily cleaning.
Upright and canister
Deep-clean power for carpets, large homes, and allergy-friendly filtration.
Handheld and wet-dry
Car cleanups, spills, stairs, and tough sticky messes.
Our promise
- We say what we like and what we do not, including flaws in popular models.
- Our picks are never for sale. Brands cannot pay for a better review.
- We update guides when prices, models, or our opinions change.
Like many review sites, we earn a small commission from some links. Our affiliate disclaimer explains how that works and why it does not affect our editorial choices. You can also read how we handle your data in our privacy policy.
